Why is eating healthy so hard to do?

I have minimal will power when it comes to eating sweets. I can eat clean all day but when dinner time rolls around and we allow the kiddos to have desert, i am eating right there with them.

Granted, i did great all day. No cheats whatsoever. I went to the gym...i worked out hard! Thank goodness i'm nursing and can allow some wiggle room with the calories.

I want a toned body. I am in great shape, but i am "skinny fat". I want to look like the girls on the Oxygen magazine. So it all comes down to diet. I love carbs! It's hard to stick to a high protein diet. Gotta run...bambinos fussing.

Vegetable gardening

I decided to start my own garden. We do not have much space for a garden so i have some tomatoes in containers and i planted bell peppers, cantaloupe, & squash. Now let me warn you...i do not have a green thumb whatsoever, but i am determined to make this work.

I am having tons of issues with my tomato plants. I have baby spiders in them. I wanted to go as natural as possible and a sweet online Mama told me to use dish soap to kill them. Well, i think i may have killed my cherry tomato plant.

My garden tomato plant has tomatoes so i must be doing something right.

The other plants are in the ground and they look great...no veggies yet.

Dave Ramsey

I just stumbled across Dave Ramsey and I'm in love. DH and I do not have credit card debt. We do however have 24,000 left on his truck. Now Dave would say "Sell the truck". DH would probably divorce me over this...okay, I'm exaggerating, but selling the truck is NOT an option! We have put ourselves on a budget and I'm actually surprised at the amount of money that we have left over every month.

Buying items with cash is alot harder than paying with Visa. Now we always paid our balance each month, but it was so much easier to whip out that card. Now i bring a set amount of money into the store with coupons in tow. I have a list and stick with the list.

I was able to put away $1000 extra into Savings (to pay off the truck) and it looks like I'll have $300 left in our envelopes. I'm just amazed. I look forward to 8pm each night to watch Dave on Fox Business.

I even got into shopping at Walgreens/CVS! I never realized there were deals...thus is the reason i started blogging. It's an accountability for me.
